She struggles, she fights. 

Coaxed over all the drenches,

The adolescent girls make up around 10% of the total Indian population. The reproductive and mental health of these young women holds a major significance for they are going to be the child bearers and contribute to the healthy population. We are on the path of modernization with the advent of science and technology. However the question needs to be raised is about the penetration level of modernity in our Indian society especially in the hinterland areas. More than two-thirds of India's population, or 833 million people, reside in rural areas. Rural-urban distribution is 68.8% and 31.2% respectively.
